My 27th week appt.

My appt went well yesterday. The boys are growing appropriately and weigh 2.0 and 2.7 lbs. They are head down and actually in a great position to deliver, if they would just stay there. LOL Right now they are too wiggly to be still. LOL My b/p is looking great and the doctor is completely satisfied with the results from this appt.

At my next ob appt, they will check to see if the placenta's are out of the way for a possible vaginal delivery.

Hi Shantay,
glad to hear things are going well! I was thinking of you the other day and I had a couple of questions about doing the surrogacy... first, are you going to be sad when you give the babies to their parents? Will you get to see them again? And this one is maybe kind of dumb, but are you going to breastfeed them or pump and provide breastmilk? Just curious and hopefully not too personal!

Hey Michelle! Been a while since I have conversed with you. I hope you and your hubby are doing well.

Honestly I don't think I will be sad to give the boys to their parents. I am sure I will be over-joyed when I see the look in their eyes as they hold them. I have went in to this pregnancy with a certain mind-set and I feel that is what is necessary. These are not my babies... M&M has mentioned me seeing the boys on visits and in pictures. So yes there will be some contact and I look forward to seeing them grow up.
I asked M&M about breast feeding. She wasn't interested at that time. I have bought a pump. I will pump and I am hoping to find someone to donate my milk too. There is a large group of ppl looking for that sort of thing, too.

Ask me anything...smiles

That's great news, Shantay! Glad to hear everything is going well. That's great that you would like to donate breast milk. I know there are places online you can donate to.
