Biggest Loser Sister Challenge is going great. Andrea, Carol and I have been really keeping in contact through facebook and the occasional phone calls. It has really helped me stay focused. We agreed not to weigh for a month, so as you may have noticed the ticker above hasn't been moving. But let me reassure you that I HAVE!. lol Tonight is considered our last change workout and I have committed to 90 push ups. OMG I will have jello for arms tomorrow. I plan on doing some through out the day to break it up. My foot is doing better, so cardio might be possible tonight. We will see. Nutrition has been on track and I am maintaining a deficient in calories over all. I still need to restrict a few more to get me where I need to be, in order to meet my very aggressive goal!
The twin's mom called me the other day. It truly made my day! I missed talking with her and hearing how her day is going. I know she is so busy with the boys and their daughter, though. I totally understand the time it takes to keep up with little ones.
I met up with Lizzy's parents and delivered the remaining supply of milk. Such an awesome feeling to help others.

Reading...

Now that I am back to work and moving around, I am taking longer reading my books. However, I have found reading to be very relaxing... therefore I plan on continuing as much as possible.
I just finished a book I started during vacation.
SMALL TOWN CHRISTMAS by Debbie Macomber (a two in one book)
~"Promise, Texas, is a good place to live with the person you love. When rancher Cal Patterson and his wife, Jane--better known as Dr. Texas -- face a threat to their marriage, she leaves Promise, the town that's become her home as much as his. Will Jane be back by Christmas? Because, for both of them, the greatest gift of all would be her RETURN TO PROMISE." This was a good read. There is the sadness of her father being sick and dying, along with another woman trying to destroy the marriage. It also focuses on their pride and how that almost caused the marriage to end.
~"Gold River, Alaska, isn't your average town. After being jilted by her fiance`, Caroline Myers ends up their -- thanks to her matchmaking aunts, who send her on what appears to be an autumn vacation. Not surprisingly, they have something different in mind. Something that involves spending a snowy Christmas in handsome Paul Trevor's home -- as his MAIL-ORDER-BRIDE." I found this one to be comical. We have this girl who is totally oblivious to her aunt scheming, until she has drunkenly gotten married. She continues to get her self into trouble, while trying to escape. I actually found Paul to be very controlling most of the time and was amazed that she would put up with it. Enjoyed this too!
*I read an article this past week that suggested donating books to homeless shelters. I plan on calling Open Arms Shelter, for women, and seeing if they would be interested in the books I have read.

Last Chance Workout
Workout... OMG is all I can say to really explain.
I pushed and then pushed some more. I thought I was gonna throw up and was so dizzy after my cardio that I had to sit and take a 20 min break.
Upper body weights. Did warm ups w/ 3#, Three reps of 8 with 5#ers, One set of 8 with 8#ers. My arms was around to fall off.
Between the above reps I did 20 step ups, totaling 3 sets.
Then I did a 20 min cardio workout on the treadmill that consisted of me running... that is what caused my light headedness.
After my break I did the 6 min. abs.... well most of it.
Feeling exhaulsted and accomplished all at the same time!

Updating...

Hey all... I pray you all have an awesome 2010!
I am back from vacation and back to work. It feels great to be back into my routine. here is a little recap!
Vacation was awesome. Hubby and I went to Alabama 1st. Dropped off Kris and took James his car. We met my James' new wife and took them to dinner to celebrate. Then we went to Georgia. We visited my brother and his family for 2 days and then visited my sister and her girls for 2 days. On Dec. 22nd, we drove to Blue Ridge and spent 6 days in a cabin on the mountains. It was beautiful and all decorated in Christmas decor', complete with a tree!!! This was a welcome surprise to me. There were stockings hung on the stair railing too. When I get pic. uploaded I will post a few. My brother and his family visited us on Christmas Day. After days of relaxing, we spent the last 2 days hiking in the mountains and seeing water falls. What a glorious way to start my exercise plan! Thank God there was a hot tub to sooth our sore muscles. ps. I took plenty of rest stops on our hiking adventure.
Work is good. I am on day 4 and not even tired of it yet. hehehe. The girl that was filling in for me, will continue to work part-time in another area of the building. That was an answered prayer!
Since I have started work, I am just too tired to continue pumping. I was glad to be able to help Lizzy for the 10 weeks though. Donating my milk was the best thing I could have done. I was able to save that family a lot of money. Last night was my last pump. Sort of sad I have to stop.
Tuesday I started my healthier way of life. Christmas coupled with vacation helped me add a few pounds on. However I feel great! Uplifted and really blessed to have had the opportunities to help others. The pregnancy of the twins and the milk I supplied Lizzy has been a huge blessing to ME.
